RF PSA 95:1 STANZA 1.
Come on let us cheer to the LORD,
Hurrah for the Rock that we trust!
RF PSA 95:2 Be early before Him with praise,
And to Him hurrah in our Psalms;—
RF PSA 95:3 For a Great GOD is the LORD,
A Great King above every GOD!
RF PSA 95:4 In His hands are the bounds of the Earth,
And His are the wings of the Hills.
RF PSA 95:5 His is the Sea, for He made it,
And His own hands have moulded its Tribes!
RF PSA 95:6 STANZA 2.
Come on! Let us bow down and kneel,
To the LIFE, who has made us, give thanks;
RF PSA 95:7 For He is Our GOD,—And we are His Race,
His Flock, and the sheep of His hand!
RF PSA 95:8 STANZA 3.
To-day, if you list to My voice,1
As at Meribah turn not your hearts,
RF PSA 95:9 Like at Masah, they did in the Waste,
When your fathers perverted themselves,
To try Me, tho' seeing My works!
RF PSA 95:10 I strove forty years with that race,
And I said in My anguish of heart,
"These! These! will not learn of My paths!"
RF PSA 95:11 Then I swore in My wrath,
"That they shall not enter My Rest!"

1 NOTE.—Psalms 95, v.8. I render this line in the first person, in accordance with the context, for the Hebrew letter yaw "his", and, yot, "my," are so much alike as in MSS. to be easily confused, as seems likely in this passage.—F.F.
