RF PRO 29:1 A man when reproved, who stiffens his neck,
When broken will find no help.

But when the bad govern, men groan,

But the friend of harlots surrenders his wealth.
RF PRO 29:4 A king strengthens his land by justice,
But a man of taxation exhausts it.
RF PRO 29:5 A man who flatters his neighbour,
Is spreading a net for his feet.
RF PRO 29:6 There is a trap, in a bad man's sin;
But the good can sing and rejoice.
RF PRO 29:7 The good will examine the pleas of the weak,
The bad troubles not to enquire.
RF PRO 29:8 The seditious set states in a flame,
But the wise will remove discontent.
RF PRO 29:9 If a wise man discuss with a fool,
By frowns or by smiles, he persuades not.

But the upright will find his esteem.
RF PRO 29:11 A blockhead shows all his intention,
But the wise keeps it quietly back.
RF PRO 29:12 If a ruler attends to deceptions,
All his officials turn villains.
RF PRO 29:13 The poor and oppressors encounter,
They are both in the eyes of the LORD.
RF PRO 29:14 The king who faithfully governs the poor,
Will establish his throne for ever.
RF PRO 29:15 The rod, and reproof, give wisdom,
But an untrained child disgraces his mother.
RF PRO 29:16 When the wicked succeed, vice grows,
But the righteous will witness their fall.
RF PRO 29:17 Chastise your son, and he will comfort,
And give a relief to your mind.
RF PRO 29:18 Without Revelation a Nation fades,
But it prospers by knowing the law.
RF PRO 29:19 A slave will not be corrected by words,
Though he knows, he will not comply.
RF PRO 29:20 Do you see a man quick in his words?
There is more hope for a fool than for him.
RF PRO 29:21 Who humors his slave from a youth,
Will be despised by him at last!
RF PRO 29:22 A passionate man incites to strife,
And the master of fury to sin.
RF PRO 29:23 The pride of a man will depress him,
But a mind that submits will gain honour.
RF PRO 29:24 Who shares with a thief, hates his life;
Hears the oath, but will never inform.
RF PRO 29:25 Human terror precipitates loss;
But who trust in the LORD will be safe.
RF PRO 29:26 Many seek for the favour of rulers,
But man's justice should come from the LORD.
RF PRO 29:27 A vile man disgusts to the good,
And the bad loathe the ways of the just!
