STANZA 1.
"From my youth oft in danger," now may Israel say;—
RF PSA 129:2 "From my youth oft in danger but yet not destroyed.
RF PSA 129:3 On my back plowers plowed, and my anguish prolonged."
RF PSA 129:4 STANZA 2.
O RIGHTEOUS LORD cut off the bonds of the Bad.
RF PSA 129:5 Defeat and hurl backward all those who hate Zion.
RF PSA 129:6 Make like grass on the roofs, dried as soon as it grows;
RF PSA 129:7 That fills no mower's hand, or the reaper with sheaves.
RF PSA 129:8 And no passers-by say, "Give good thanks to the LORD;—We, to JEHOVAH'S NAME will for you offer thanks!"
