RF COL 3:1 Exhortation to Practical Godliness.
If, however, you were raised with Christ, search for what is above, where Christ is seated upon the right hand of God.
RF COL 3:2 Think about heavenly, not earthly affairs;
RF COL 3:3 for you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
RF COL 3:4 So when Christ our life is manifested, then also you will be manifested in majesty together with Him.
RF COL 3:5 Therefore destroy these parts of yourselves upon the earth—fornication, impurity, passion, vile lust, and greed, for it is idolatry:
RF COL 3:6 through which the anger of God comes;
RF COL 3:7 among which you once walked when you lived with them
RF COL 3:8 But now you reject the whole—rage, lust, filth, vice, slander from your mouth.
RF COL 3:9 Do not lie to each other. Put off the old man with his practices;
RF COL 3:10 and put on the new, that is renewed in knowledge—the very picture of its Creator—
RF COL 3:11 where no one is Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, foreigner, Scythian, slave, freeman—but Christ, the whole, and in all.
RF COL 3:12 Therefore put on, as chosen of God, holy and beloved, gentle pity, kindness, quietude, mildness,
RF COL 3:13 forbearance; supporting one another, and forgiving mutually, if any one should have a quarrel against another; just as the Master forgave you, you should also do;
RF COL 3:14 but above all these—love, which is a bond of perfection.
RF COL 3:15 And let the peace of God preside in your hearts—for you were called to be a united body—and be thankful.
RF COL 3:16 Let Christ's reason live richly in you with all wisdom. Teach and instruct yourselves with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs; in delight singing in your hearts to God.
RF COL 3:17 And in all that you do in word, or in deed, do all in the Name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to the God, and Father, through Him.
RF COL 3:18 Let the wives be obedient to their husbands, as is right in the LORD.
RF COL 3:19 Let the husbands love their wives, and be not bitter with them.
RF COL 3:20 Children should obey their parents in everything; for that is pleasing to the LORD.
RF COL 3:21 Fathers, do not irritate your children, and break not their spirits.
RF COL 3:22 Slaves, obey your bodily masters in all; not in false pretence, like flatterers, but with honesty of heart, fearing the LORD.
RF COL 3:23 If you do this, working from your soul as to the Lord, and not to men,
RF COL 3:24 you know that you will from the LORD receive the reward of the inheritance; work for the Lord Jesus Christ.
RF COL 3:25 For the wrong-doer, however, there will be stored up the evil which he has done; and there is no partiality.
